Sodium Dichromate, Granular, Technical has a salt like texture and is an orange ore like color. It is water soluble and has near identical properties as potassium dichromate. It is mostly used as an oxidizing agent and to tan leather but only after it has been reduced with sulfur dioxide. Technical grade products supplied by ScienceLab are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use.
