Petroleum Ether, B.R. 35 DEG -60 DEG C, Practical Grade is also known as benzine and petroleum naphtha. It is a highly flammable, liquid hydrocarcbon that is mainly used as a nonpolar solvent. It is used as an essential ingredient in label removing products and as a low boiling solvent. The Practical Grade describes chemicals of good quality where there are no official standards and is normally limited to inorganic chemicals.
