Cobalt Nitrate, Hexahydrate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS is an inorganic cobalt salt of nitric acid. It is often a red brownish color and a deliquescent salt that is water soluble. It is created by the interaction of cobalt oxide, hydroxide or carbonate with nitric acid.
