Product Overview
Dichloromethane, HPLC Grade
Molecular Formula: CH2Cl2
Methylene Chloride, Hydrocarbon Stabilized, Exceeds A.C.S. Specifications, HPLC Grade, otherwise referred to as Dichloromethane. This organic compound has a light sweet aroma and is widely used as a solvent. Although this colorless, volatile liquid is non-miscible with water, it is miscible with a rang of other organic solvents. Thanks to it's low boiling point, it is able to function in a heat engine. It also welds certain plastics together and is used by hobbyist for joining components together. As it exceeds ACS grade Reagent standards, ScienceLab uses the quality standard against which other substances are grade and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
