Aluminum Nitrate, Nonahydrate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS is a strong oxidizing agent. It is a salt of aluminum and nitric acid existing normally as a crystalline hydrate. Aluminum nitrate has many different uses including extracting uranium, petroleum refining, as a nitrating agent, and in tanning leather. As an ACS grade quality reagent, its chemical specifications are the de facto standards for chemicals used in many high-purity applications and typically designate the highest quality chemical available for laboratory use. ScienceLab Reagent ACS grade products meet the toughest regulatory standards for quality and purity.
